Filmmaker Fusion – FADE IN: A Screenwriter’s Journey

April 7, 2018 0 Comments Filmmaker Fusion, Up Next by Aaron Kes

Wednesday, April 18th, 2018 from 7pm- 9pm

This month we’re taking a look at screenwriting in general and how to grow as a screenwriter, and how to grow as a filmmaker who works with them. At the event we’ll discuss questions like:

  • “What advice do you give to people who are frustrated over the quality of their work when they first start out?”
  • “Is the screenwriting process different for writers vs writer/directors? Any tips for writer/directors?”
  • “What is your advice for working with a writing partner?”

Confirmed Panelists:

Chris LaMont – Filmmaker/Educator

Susan Slonaker – Former Head of Production at Miramax

Bill True – Screenwriter and Co-Chair of the Scottsdale School of Film & Theatre

Jeannie Berg – Screenwriting Guru and Former Warner Bros Feature Film Marketer

More, TBA!

Bring your questions and talk to our panelists!  AND…bring your business cards for networking with others in the local filmmaking industry and a door prize. Although you DO NOT need to be an IFP Member to attend any Filmmaker Fusion events, if you are an IFP Member, bring your IFP Membership card for a chance to win a special prize!
