Join IFP Phoenix
IFP Phoenix (formerly the Phoenix Film Project) is a non-profit organization and a program of the 501c3 Phoenix Film Foundation and is a sibling to the Phoenix Film Festival, the Phoenix Film Society, the Arizona Student Film Festival and the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival.
Our Mission
IFP Phoenix (Independent Feature Project Phoenix) supports and develops the growth of independent filmmaking in Arizona through education, networking, exhibition, and filmmaking opportunities. Our desire is to help connect everyone in the Arizona filmmaking community.
What We Do
Making a movie is hard. IFP Phoenix can help. Our annual Filmmaker Challenges give you an opportunity to get out and make a film, then see it play on the big screen. You can meet other local film industry folks and learn more about all aspects of filmmaking at our monthly event, Filmmaker Fusion. Or if you have already made a film, you can bring it to Monthly Movie meeting to get some feedback from other filmmakers in the community.
Education is a big part of what we do, and we offer Seminars and Workshops on an on-going basis throughout the year. We also partner each year with the Phoenix Film Festival to put on education programs and seminars throughout the Festival.
Who We Are
We are staffed entirely by volunteers who have a passion for helping independent filmmakers get their films made, building the audience for independent film, and increasing diversity in the film industry. Our office is in Phoenix, Arizona but we are working to build community throughout the state of Arizona.
You can join and support the cause anytime; visit our membership page for all the membership options.
