2019 BREAK OUT CHALLENGE RESULTS!

On October 12th, 2019 we held our Break Out Film Challenge screening at Harkins Arrowhead Fountains 18 as a part of the Peoria Film Fest. It was a great night for local filmmakers and we watched some amazing films. Here is the full list of winners from the event:

1st Place – “SHK” by Muddled Mess Films

Audience Favorite – “SHK” by Muddled Mess Films

2nd Place – “Office Hours and Hours and Hours” by JP and Beyond

3rd Place – “Everything You Asked For” by The New Real Fake Team

Best Director – Bill Wetherill for “SHK”

Best Actress – Sara Woods for “Office Hours and Hours and Hours”

Best Actor – Josh Maynard for “Everything You asked For”

Best Screenplay – Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta for “Office Hours and Hours and Hours”

Best Editing –  Jesse Perrotta for “Office Hours and Hours and Hours”

Best Cinematography – Jay Williams for “SHK”

Best Original Music – Elaine Palmer for “SHK”

Best Sound – Kira Ramirez for “Office Hours and Hours and Hours”

Best Production Design – “Everything You Asked For”

Best Use of Prop – Hockey Stick for “SHK”

Best Use of Line – “We’re almost there.” for SHK

Best Poster – “Withdrawal” – Passion Project

Best Trailer – “Everything You Asked For” by The New Real Fake Team

Best VFX (Special Award) – “A Void Perception” by Adolpho Navarro

Congrats to all the winners and we’ll see you all in the Summer for the Beat the Clock Challenge 2020!
