Our latest episode of Direct Chat will feature Marcus A. Stricklin. Marcus is an aspiring TV writer who has made incredible use of his time during social distancing. Not only has he seen notable advancement of one of his TV projects, he used some of the home time to get creative and make some very funny Tik Tok videos that saw him grow his following. He then pivoted to making informative videos helping educate people about what makes good allies for black people. We’ll chat with him about all of this on our next episode.

Marcus A. Stricklin is an aspiring TV comedy writer. He has no official credits. He is trying to transition from being a full-time stay-at-home dad of five, to a TV writer. Marcus has spent the better part of the last five years writing, taking Comedy/Drama writing classes, submitting to contests, and pretty much doing everything he can to get into TV writing. Marcus is currently a finalist in BET’s Project Cr8 for his Surviving the 80’s TV pilot.
