Welcome our new Filmmaker Fusion Hosts – Cassandra Nicholson and Melissa Farley

January 21, 2020 1 Comments Filmmaker Fusion, News by Aaron Kes

IFP Phoenix is elated to welcome two new co-hosts for Filmmaker Fusion who’ll be starting in February.

Cassandra and Melissa are two of the most beloved members of our local filmmaking community and they are going to do a great job with Filmmaker Fusion. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 19th from 7-9pm as they make their debut at Scottsdale Community College. More details to come on their initial event! We can’t wait to see what they do!

More about our new hosts:

Cassandra Nicholson is a writer/producer/director with 10 years of experience in the Arizona independent film scene. In addition to working on more than a dozen narrative and documentary short films, she has also organized several events geared toward filmmakers and film-lovers. Her main focus is collaborating with other creatives and bringing teams together for a variety of projects. She is a devout television industry enthusiast, and likely knows all about your favorite series even if she hasn’t seen it yet.

Melissa is a dynamo in the media and entertainment industry. After a decade-long acting career resulting in more than 30 IMDB credits, spanning from indie films to network television roles, Melissa branched out into directing, producing and writing.

Melissa was a manager at USA TODAY Network, working with a team of producers to identify, create and optimize digital content nationwide. With her swift expertise, innovative approach to storytelling and smart experimentation, Melissa is a trusted, passionate and effective professional, creator and artist.

We can’t wait for February! See you then!
