2017 Beat the Clock Film Challenge Results

On August 3rd, 2017 we held our Beat the Clock Film Challenge screening at Harkins 101 Scottsdale. It was a great night for local filmmakers and we watched some amazing films. It was the tightest finish ever for the top prize! Here is the full list of winners from the event:

1st Place – Adam’s Mask – Rapid Productions

Audience Favorite – Powder – Screaming Goat Films

2nd Place – Powder – Screaming Goat Films

3rd Place – We’re Not OK – 12a Productions

Best Director – Nick Villarreal, Jeff Fields, and Odin Magana – Adam’s Mask

Best Actress – Maria Patti – Here We Go

Best Actor – Steve Mastin – We’re Not OK

Best Screenplay – Tyler Riggs – Powder

Best Editing – Jeff Breuer – We’re Not OK

Best Cinematography – Nick Villarreal, Odin Magana, Danielle Pomroy, and Jeff Fields

Best Music – Daniel A. Vivanco – Grace

Best Sound Design – Rapid Productions – Adam’s Mask

Best Art Direction – Where’s My Pants?! – FoxyForce 5

Best Use of Prop – Screaming Goat Films – Powder

Best Use of Line – AzMakers – Strangely Grim

Best Poster – Adam’s Mask – Rapid Productions

Best Trailer – Shadow Man – Studio Gaijin

 

Congrats to all of our winners and everyone who made a film! Stay tuned as we are launching the Break Out Film Challenge registration in a few days! Kickoff will be Thursday, September 21st.
