Wednesday, July 15th, 2015 from 7pm- 9pm
“Positive Criticism” will feature local experts discussing how to ask for, learn from, and even give criticism, which can be a great tool for developing filmmakers. Find out answers to questions like:
- “How can one ensure they’re getting honest feedback on their work?”
- “How does a filmmaker handle criticism they disagree with, even when it may be the majority opinion?”
- “As filmmakers, how do we talk to each other openly about our work and help each other get better?”
Panelists:
Josh Kasselman – Host of IFP Phoenix’s Monthly Movie Meeting and Filmmaker
Monte Yazzie – Critic and head of the International Horror and Sci Fi Festival
Brent Hankins – Critic and member of Phoenix Critics Circle
Bring your questions and talk to our panelists! AND…bring your business cards for networking with others in the local filmmaking industry and a door prize. Although you DO NOT need to be an IFP Member to attend any Filmmaker Fusion events, if you are an IFP Member, bring your IFP Membership card for a chance to win a special prize!
