Angela Marie Houston is a 21-year-old filmmaker currently attending Northern Arizona University as a film major. She began making films in 2012 and since then has been apart of over 50 different projects, experiencing all roles of filmmaking from being a production assistant on the feature film Wish Man to producing independent short films. She enjoys working as a writer, director, producer, and assistant director.
Currently, Angela is the president and producer of UTV Studios, NAU’s Student lead production company, where she directed June Heist and produced Heart of a Priest. Angela attributes most of her learning to out of class experiences such as the IFP Phx’s summer camps, UTV’s productions, and self-exploration of the craft. She hopes to one-day direct feature fiction films.
