FREE Film Festival Workshops
Did you know that IFP Phoenix is putting on EIGHT different FREE seminars at the festival? Well, you do now.
Held on Saturday and Sunday and hosted by past film festival alumni, the seminars are a great way to gain knowledge and insight directly from filmmakers who have films playing in this year’s film festival. With topics covering subjects like screenwriting, directing, acting, diversity, Horror and Sci Fi, the power of the arts, geeks and film, and music in film, there is surely something for everyone!

We’re even going to be podcasting one of the seminars for later listening!

Designed specifically for middle and high school students, this weeklong program during the Phoenix Film Festival allows you to join other students in creating a film from script to screen one day at a time.
Each day different aspects of filmmaking will be explored with various Film Industry Professionals. From film lovers to filmmakers, and from writers to actors, these seminars are a great way to complement your school’s current curriculum with real world exploration and application.
